The course covers a wide variety of topics including Japanese tea industry, tea regions as well as variations in Japanese tea production. You will also be able to get a better understanding of Japanese tea culture as well as professionally taste and evaluate several lesser known Japanese teas such as Kabusecha, Tamaryokucha, Wakoucha and much more.
Participation in this course will help you to expand your knowledge and understanding of Japanese tea that will come useful in current or future tea projects. Let’s explore the wider world of Japanese tea together!
Course Format and Topics
The course consists of 2h x 4 session that are held weekly and is held English by by the association founders – Simona Suzuki and Anna Poian. To ensure interactive and personable experience the course is limited to 5 people and is held live over Zoom. After the successful completion of the course students will receive the course certificate. The course includes the topics below.
